Sometimes we “sense” that we have offended or angered our brothers and sisters in some way. In the interest of the Community and ‘right action/right words’, it is a good thing to approach that person and ask “have I done something to offend you?”
This gives one an opportunity to speak about what is in their hears and what is bothering them. It also gives us the opportunity to make amends or clear up any misunderstandings…to ‘clear the air’ so to speak. At the end of this talk, we shake hands to demonstrate our willingness to forgive and strengthen the bond between us. This renews the bonds of the Community and keeps our hearts right with each other.
We must be unafraid to approach each other, always in a good way, and share what is in our hearts…be willing to admit we are hurt/angered or be willing to admit we made a mistake…shake hands and walk away,…our spirits lifted of the weight we held. This is a good thing!
